Vacation Sketch

Hello, everyone. Still on Vacation, and while I was here without my trusty tablet and photoshop, I decided I would try some more traditional-ish techniques. For one, (probably the best thing I learned from my Gf's college art student father) is how to carry a line all the way through and make it nicer looking instead of the way I usually do it where it comes out sloppy. I know I've good parts in other areas, but that is one I've not been good at getting. I am very glad I"m finally learning that one. Aside from that, I've given hatching and crosshatching a go. It may not be the most stellar use of them compared to others, but I am pleased with how things have turned out in this drawing ^^ Anyway, please comment and let me know what you think of these efforts I have made in the traditional style. Should I explore this area more and perhaps color with pencils or paint maybe? Best wishes, everyone
